Cuernavaca Neighborhood: On Tuesday, September 23, 2014, we received a phone call from a proactive resident who informed us that a suspicious person was in the area near Cuernavaca Circulo. One of our officers responded to the scene and came into contact with a subject, later identified as Mohammed Kahn of Sunnyvale, who matched the description of the subject.

Suspect Kahn was ultimately arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance 11377(a) H&S, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 11364.1(a) H&S and for being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance 11550(a) H&S. He was booked into the San Jose Main Jail without incident.

A big thanks to the resident who contacted us. This is another great example of “see something, say something.” If you see anything out of the ordinary, please contact us at 650-93-6395, or 911 in an emergency.

Old Mountain View Neighborhood: Between Monday, September 22, 2014 at 3:00PM and Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 12:00PM, a male subject forcibly entered a residence located on the 200 block of Church Street. The subject slept at the residence and left the next day taking with him a coat, ski pants and two sleeping bag straps.

Then on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 between 2:50AM and 2:55AM, it is believed the same subject entered the Church Street residence, however because repairs were made to the interior door, he did not gain entry into the residence. Fortunately, the homeowners had security cameras and were able to capture excellent video of the subject whom we would like to identify.

The subject is described as a Hispanic or Latino male around his mid-twenties and is about 5’08” and 150 pounds. As you can see from the video footage, the subject was wearing a white, long-sleeved hoodie, white pants with a black belt and white shoes with black stripes. He enters the property between 00:03 to 00:59 minutes. When the subject exists the property starting at 1:10 to 1:26 minutes, it appears that his pants “sag” below his waistline. Additionally, the subject has a very distinctive haircut and facial hair.
