Witnesses Sought In Sylvan Park Incident

Sylvan ParkOn Friday, December 26, 2014 at 12:10AM officers were dispatched to Sylvan Avenue near Sylvan Park on a report of a man bleeding. Officers located a 24 year-old Sunnyvale man who was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, the specific details of this incident are unclear. MVPD detectives are actively investigating this case and encourage anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have information about the suspect(s), to contact Detective Kevin Galloway at (650) 903-6395.

To ensure that you and your loved ones stay safe at night, we encourage the following:

  • Avoid walking alone
  • Avoid dark and dimly lit areas; try to stay in more populated areas
  • Have a plan of where you are going and when you are going to be back
  • Carry a cell phone with you
  • If you see something, say something
