Granted, it might be a little early to start talking holiday decorations and gifts BUT….it’s never too early to consider a contribution to our annual “Cops That Care” event. On Saturday, December 19th, over 1,300 children from the community will gather at the Rengstorff Park Community Center (201 S Rengstorff Ave.) for the annual “Cops That Care” holiday gift giving event. This event provides gifts for children whose families may not have the means to purchase gifts on their own. Children through 18 years of age who have an affiliation to Mountain View (attending schools or living in Mountain View) will be able to select a toy from the hundreds available.
If you are interested, brand new (unwrapped) gifts can be brought to our police department front counter or if you prefer, this online link will allow you to donate gift cards for the older kids. All gift cards should be sent to the Mountain View Police Department at 1000 Villa Street, Mountain View, CA 94041. All gifts and gift cards need to be received by Thursday, December 17th in order to be included in our gift-giving event.
This event has been wildly successful in years past; all thanks to the wonderful generosity of our awesome community. From the bottom of our hearts: Thank You!
Your contribution to the program is tax-deductible. If you have any questions, please contact Officer Robert Taylor: firstname.lastname@example.org or 650-903-6387.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
