Help MVPD find robbery suspect

Mountain View police need your help finding a man who robbed a woman of her purse on Monday. Around 4:16 p.m., Mountain View police responded to a business at El Camino Real and Lane Avenue for reports that a man had just taken a female employee’s purse and had pushed her.

When officers arrived, they were told by the victim that a man had walked through a back door of the business, and while the employee was working, took her purse. The employee ran after the suspect, and when she caught up to him and tried to take back her purse, he pushed her to the ground.

The suspect is described as a black adult man, 30 to 40 years old, at least 6 feet tall, bald with a thin frame and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and grey pants.
