Some St. Patrick’s Day Safety Suggestions So You Savor Staying Safe!

Top o’ the mornin’ to ya, Mountain View!

Tomorrow, we know lots of you plan on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in and around Mountain View, and we just wanted to take wee moment of your time to remind you of a few safety tips so that when you get home safely, it’s not just because of luck.

Most importantly, if you plan on drinking, designate a sober driver for the evening, be it a friend, a ridesharing service, or a taxi. If you’re in any way feeling like you cannot drive, make sure you and your friends have a plan to get safely home, and do not get behind the wheel.

Download ridesharing apps before you head out, or have a number of a taxi company readily available in your phone. AAA will also be offering a “Safe Ride” program for those who need help getting home on St. Patrick’s Day.

If you’re out on the road, also remember that if you’re driving sober, it doesn’t necessarily mean that others will be doing the same. Keep an eye out for impaired drivers, and if you see someone who appears to be driving under the influence, give us a call!

Also, if you head out and plan on drinking, remember to eat and stay hydrated.

Have a very happy – and safe – St. Patrick’s Day, Mountain View!
