Update To Shooting At Shoreline Amphitheatre

On Friday, August 22, 2014 at approximately 11:05PM, MVPD received multiple calls of shots fired at Shoreline Amphitheatre located at 1 Amphitheatre Parkway during the Wiz Khalifa concert. The victim, Eric Johnson, a 38 year-old male out of Orinda, CA, was shot multiple times and transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

On Sunday, August 24, 2014 MVPD detectives, with the assistance of Irvine Police Department, executed search warrants at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Irvine, which resulted in the arrest of the following subjects for firearms related charges:

Jay ” Young Jeezy” Jenkins DOB: 9/28/77 Male

Kena Marshall DOB: 10/22/1974 Male

Peter Maynard DOB: 10/24/1975 Male

David Kuniansky-Altman DOB: 10/10/1982 Male

William Gilmore DOB: 6/2/1966 Male

Alexa Beason DOB: 10/27/1961 Female

This remains an active homicide investigation and MVPD detectives are aggressively following up on all leads. Any witnesses who may have information leading to the suspect(s).
