Updated 8/27/15 - Thanks to our community for helping us track down this suspect who was arrested for a warrant related to this incident that occurred on Sunday, August 16, 2015. Remember, we cannot keep our city safe without your assistance, and arrests like these go to prove that your voice matters.
On Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 1:53pm, we were dispatched to 600 Showers Drive on the report of a theft. An unknown suspect put a pair of shoes on and walked out of Walmart without paying for them. When the store’s loss prevention tried to detain the suspect, he swung his arms multiple times and struck one of the loss prevention officers on the face. The suspect then fled the scene. We are looking for this suspect (pictured above) who is described as:
- Bald
- Beard
- Light complexion
- Between 140 and 150 pounds
- Medium build
- 5’6″ to 5’8″
- Early 30’s
