Around 6:34 am, we responded to reports of a delivery truck that had been driven into a building on Ellis Street.
When we arrived, we learned that the driver of a delivery truck was exiting from northbound Highway 101 onto Ellis Street when he accidentally accelerated instead of braking. The delivery truck drove into the wall of a business on the 600 block of Ellis Street.
The driver, a man, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. No one else was injured.
The building sustained slight damage, including a broken window, and some shrubbery was run over.
