Traffic Advisories For This Friday & Saturday
We have a few events taking place this Friday and Saturday that will affect traffic in and around Mountain View.
On Friday, August 16th the San Jose Bike Party will start their bike ride at approximately 8:00PM in Sunnyvale. They will then pass through Mountain View onward to Palo Alto and then complete their ride back in Mountain View close to 12:00AM. Their current route is outlined in the map (above), so if you are either participating in the event, or want to know what areas to avoid, click here.
On Saturday, August 17th Shoreline Amphitheatre hosts Wild 94.9′s Comedy Jam 2013. The event itself doesn’t start until 7:00PM, but expect traffic to get backed-up in the early afternoon.
As a reminder, drinking alcoholic beverages in parking lots and any public areas is prohibited. Avoid the 13 kicks off this Friday, so there will be added patrol teams looking for DUIs. Don’t let that be you!
