Zeus Starts 2014 With A Big Bust

A proud Zeus displays his find! “If you hide it, I will find it,” says Zeus.

While most of us were enjoying a nice Friday evening this past weekend, Zeus was working an undercover operation in the southern region of Santa Clara County. This is business as usual for Zeus currently assigned to the Santa Clara County Specialized Enforcement Team (SCCSET).

Zeus recovered 2.3 pounds of methamphetamine from a vehicle on January 10, 2014 at approximately 6:30PM. His find aided in the arrest of seven adults and one juvenile suspect.

Zeus’s advice: Stay away from drugs!

Zeus is one of our narcotics dogs assigned to the Santa Clara County Specialized Enforcement Team (SCCSET). Zeus’ primary job is to use his highly-trained, Labrador nose to locate illegal narcotics hidden in all sorts of creative places.
