Community Action And Information Unit Outreach
At MVPD our Community Action and Information Unit (CAIU) is responsible for community outreach, crime prevention and other community interest initiatives. As part of this outreach, Sgt. Jaeger recently stopped by a local BBQ where over a dozen kids were enjoying and participating in a variety of games.
It’s during visits like these where we realize the impact we have on the children in our community. They see us a real, live superheros and the smiles they bestowed upon us were pretty awesome! Their parents were equally thrilled, and Sgt. Jaeger was able to interact with them to explain how we use our gear, what our SUVs are equipped with and a variety of other tactics.
